Biography

Jonathan started learning classical guitar at the age of 8 after receiving the first few lessons as a gift from his grandmother. Jonathan went on to achieve exam success before studying music at school and spending most of his time writing and recording. Jonathan was part of the alternative rock band 'The Morning' from 1998 - 2004. 

Jonathan has spent many years perfecting his skill with influences from Biffy Clyro, The Beatles, Will McNicol, Clive Carroll, Cim Frode & many more.

Jonathan is a full time guitar tutor in Dorset and works closely with the BCP Council & The Coda Music Trust.

The release of Jonathan's debut instrumental album 'Deacons' was released in 2021 including 7 original tracks and his arrangement of the Tina Turner Hit 'The Best' which was aired on BBC radio.

Jonathan is busy performing as much as possible to promote his original music and is currently writing pieces for his new album which he hopes to be available by 2023.
